2011- Client charged with petty theft and felony parole violation. After Attorney Barbee files multiple pleadings the prosecution dismisses case!
2012 - Client accused sheriff's deputy of battery - Attorney Barbee wins federal civil rights case and monetary judgment!
2013 - State of California repeatedly denied client's claim for monetary compensation under government contract. Attorney Barbee filed action against state agency and client is paid within a few months!
2014- Client charged with second time DUI. Attorney Barbee files motion to exclude evidence of client's blood alcohol concentration due to illegal search. The court grants the motion and the case is dismissed!
2014- Client charged with four felonies, two of which were strikes. Attorney Barbee's pre-trial motion for dismissal of most serious charge is granted, his trial motion for dismissal of charge is granted, and client receives Not Guilty verdicts on two remaining felony counts. (However, client is found guilty of one lesser included offense.)
2015- Client was denied his application for U.S. citizenship, and denied his administrative appeal. Attorney Barbee filed a Petition for Judicial Review of applicant's denial. Six months later client is granted U.S. citizenship!
2016- Defendant is accused of possessing and transporting a controlled substance for sale. After a hard fought trial Attorney Barbee helps defendant obtain a Not Guilty verdict on Count 1 and its lesser included offense, and a hung jury on Count 2, 11-1 in favor of Not Guilty. At the next court hearing the prosecution dismisses Count 2 and client is released from custody!
